License issuing authority is Chief Traffic Officer. Incharge of Licensing Branch is DSP     Licensing, who is responsible for managerial and driving tests issues, under the supervision     of Chief Traffic Officer.

Our force has engraved new modifications in licensing. So, a computerized revolution has     taken place in License Branch. New learner permit and new regular License meets     International Standards. Our new license system is based upon Information Technology     Department, Punjab. In this system PVC card and magnetic strip is used for printing of     License.
